Scary Expressions

When i look at this picture i think of the most peaceful places, are the scariest. A place doesn't have to be really creepy looking in order to be haunted or just plain scary. I like how the setting makes it different then other ones, that are already scary before adding the ghost.
When i see this picture i think of fish, those are leaves that are supposed to be on the face, but they look more like scales. The eyes make it more interesting because they stand out more. i put a brighter color against brown because it would create contrast.

This makes me think of ugly zombies. The face is deformed, lips are bigger then normal, one eye is bigger then the other. i think i could have don't a better job at taking pictures if i knew we were going to be doing what we did on photo shop.

The Scream: My Interpretation

I think the man is screaming because he just noticed what he looked like. He is holding his face as if he can’t believe what his face looks like. He is surprised because he didn’t expect something so hideous. From my observation I can see a hybrid of an Alien-Man. He may have woken up from a long time and just seen his reflection and was shocked and scared of what was looking back.

Creative Me

This project was an opportunity for us to put the tools we have learned to use. We were to take one of our portraits, and change it creatively using the following: selection tools, layers, adjustment layers, layer styles, blending options, paint brushes and opacity
I like how i did the grass. its different and you won't find grass that looks the same. i thought if i did different colors in it, it wouldn't be so boring. I liked the Quick Mask Mode better then the other tools because it lets you do what you want, and you can also get little details that you want to color in, rather then the computer choosing for you. I feel really confident with my photo shop knowledge. i feel like there is so much more to learn but its progress.

Adjustment Layers

In this exercise we learned about Adjustment layers. Adjustment layers allow you to add adjustments to your image on separate layers instead of directly to the image itself. This comes in handy during long complicated projects. In Photoshop every tool is specifically designed to help improve your photo. However, here we took some artistic liberties and explored adjustments creatively.
